Material

Cristalplant, a material praised for its natural stone-like appearance and velvety feel, is composed primarily of highly pure aluminium trihydrate mineral fillers bound together by Biobased® plant-derived (corn/maize) resins. It is hard-wearing, has photocatalytic properties that make it bacteria resistant, can be easily repaired in case of scratches, dents or yellowing, and is 100% recyclable.

Care and maintenance

For proper care and maintenance of your Cristalplant/Cristalplant Color washbasin, use soapy water, common non-abrasive detergents, gel or abrasive cleaners, and a Scotch-Brite scouring pad. Rinse thoroughly after using cleaning products. Do not use solvents such as acetone or trichloroethylene, or other harsh chemical products such as muriatic acid, caustic soda, drain cleaners, and solvents used in paints.

Installation

Only neutral, transparent, non-acetic silicones should be used for proper installation, to prevent surface corrosion..
